Lava Iris X1 Grand: Lollipop Rollout

The dual SIM phone sports some powerful features like 12.7 cm (5.0) IPS display, High quality dual speakers, 8 MP primary and 2 MP secondary camera, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB, 1.3 GHz quad core processor, intelligent flip cover and a lot more. All of this is now available in Android v5 Lollipop interface.

Lollipop offers efficient utilization of battery, more user friendly notification centre, and an exceptionally smooth, fun and interactive interface. A new lock screen enables you to see all your important notifications at a glance and also enables you to hide sensitive content from the screen.

The steps below will help you update your device.

Precondition:

Kindly take a backup of your personal data before proceeding for upgrade.
Ensure that enough space around 550 MB (in phone memory/SD card) is available in handset.
Device should be connected to a healthy network (Preferable Wi-Fi).
Battery must be charged around 50%

Process:

Go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Updates > the device will detect the package present Online
Click OK to download
Once download done, Click the option of Install Update
After the upgrade, It is advisable to factory reset your phone in order to restore some default system files
