Lava Battle of Batteries: The Hunt for the Top Battery Guzzler is ON!

While everyone was wishing each other for prosperity during Makar Sankranti, we kicked off a battle that invited all those who were daring enough to put their smartphones to the sword. The prize? A brand new Lava Iris Fuel 60 , a smartphone that promises 3X battery power as compared to other phones in its category. However, the rules of the contest aren’t quite what one would expect. The winner of the battle wouldn’t be the last one standing; it would be the first to fall down. For an added dash of zing, each contestant is encouraged to invite others to the competition which would further increase his chances of winning the grand prize.

Anyone with an Android smartphone is welcome to enter and participate in the competition and it is extremely easy to do so.

Step 1: Go to the Google Play store and download the ‘Lava Battle of Batteries’

Step 2: Run the app and that’s it

Between 8 am and 8 pm every day, the app will track the rate at which your battery drains and will also show your rank with respect to other contestants. To improve the chances of winning, contestants are encouraged to share the word about the app with their friends and family over Facebook, WhatsApp and so forth. At the end of each day, a winner shall be declared. Due to the woeful battery of their phone, this winner will walk away with a brand new Lava Iris Fuel 60 .
